What is covered

Akvantis warrants this unit against defects in material and workmanship for five full years from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser, when the unit has been installed and operated as described in the installation guide.

What is not covered

Filter cartridges, the RO membrane and other consumable parts are excluded: they are wearing items with a stated replacement interval, and replacing them is maintenance rather than repair.

Damage from conditions outside the specification

Seals, tubing and fittings damaged by scale, frost or water outside the stated pressure and temperature range are likewise excluded.

Making a claim

You need your proof of purchase and the serial number from the plate on the back of the unit. Keep both together: the serial is what identifies your machine to service, and no claim can be processed without it.

What the warranty pays for

Repair or replacement of the unit at Akvantis’s discretion, including parts and labour, at an authorised service point.

What it does not pay for

The cost of removing or refitting the unit, water damage to surrounding property, or loss of use while a repair is in progress.

When the warranty is void

Where the unit has been opened or modified by anyone other than an authorised service engineer, where it has been connected to a supply outside the stated specification, or where the serial number has been removed or made unreadable.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is given in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer and does not limit them. Where the two differ, the statutory right applies.
